Bidrage med feedbackI had an incredible dining experience at the restaurant with our favorite chef, Jean-Jacques Carquillat. I could write a lengthy review, but there's really no need. Just go! If you have to, take a taxi, but make sure you go—it’s absolutely worth it!
The food was excellent, but the desserts were a bit dry. The cheesecake didn't come with the compote as mentioned.
After several nights of enjoying delicious seafood, I decided to switch things up and try the burger. It was excellent as well!
This was our first meal in Barbados, and it was spectacular. The service was amazing, the setting was beautiful and casual. We had a salmon tartare that was wonderful. Also, some of the best snails and mushrooms I’ve ever had. The sauce was amazing. I had the barracuda, and my husband had this year at all he tuna. For dessert we had a white chocolate lemon tart that was to die for. I would definitely recommend it. The staff was always checking on you making sure everything was wonderful.
We love Le Shack and visited many times during our 3 week vacation in Barbados. The hosts Jean Jacques and AnnaLise are wonderful, the atmosphere in the restaurant very positive, the food exceptional all in all magical evenings out. Oh, and the takeaway pizzas are excellent. We can’t wait to return.
