Bistro St Michaels

We came recently for our anniversary and the meal was good but nothing special. When we got the bill we were shocked at the price and they nickel and dimed us on everything. For example, My husband asked for an extra dirty martini, charged him extra $3 dollar for olive juice and $1.50 for blue cheese olives. My husband ordered their special and the server never shared the price which was $80 dollars. That feels like something they should specify for an entree that expensive. For desert we assumed they comped because it wasn’t on the bill, then when the server brought the card back he told us he ended up adding it back on his card. Unfortunately we were really excited for this dinner as our hotel raved about it but we wouldn’t go back. (I typically wouldn’t write a negative review but as someone who eats out quite a bit, this meal felt off)

Incredible experience. They happily accommodated our blind dog by seating us on the back patio, service was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, and above all, food was exceptional. Steak frites was delicious and fries were addictive; crab cake was the best we have had, with huge pieces of lump crab. 10/10, will be coming back asap.

St Michaels and Easton have quite a few very good restaurants with well deserved reputations. On a pure taste basis this is the best!

This was the best restaurant we ate at in St. Michaels. The salmon was perfectly cooked! My husband said the crab cakes were excellent! The waiter was very attentive and the service was great. None of the other restaurants in the town were as good as Bistro for their food on the dinner menu. This was our first time staying in the town and we enjoyed the restaurant.

Definitely an experience. Some of the best food on the eastern shore.
