Live the chicken wings as starters recommended by the boss. Kids love their first night dinner in Brisbane as we took them to St Lucia, our apartment when we studied 20 years back. Pho and grilled pork, chicken tasted delicious too.

This place has been here for decades,effectively servicing university students from the campus 500m away. It has a couple of tables out the front.It is a standard cafe with a predominantly Asian theme. Prices are in the cheap and cheerful bracket. The food is quite acceptable, but don't expect anything more. The fact that it has survived for decades ( under varying owners) reflects its excellent location, and pricing that matches the students modest means

Great lunch spot, wouldn't go here for a business meeting though. Fast, delicious, cheap and great portion size (1 lunch enough for 2 feeds IMO)

The venue is certainly not fancy however if you are looking for good and cheap Chinese and Vietnamese food then this place will suit you. It is located next to a number of other cafes and restaurants so you have a great range of choice anyway. Service is very quick.

Located conveniently close to the college campuses and across from IGA, Chez Tessa is extremely cheap and delicious for the price. The servers are always friendly and quick to get your order out and it's a nice, open atmosphere to eat at with your friends or simply by yourself.
