Bangkok Delights - ST LUCIA

Located on a busy restaurant strip there is lots to choose from , I have had much better Thai than they serve here and would not go back , service was friendly

The food here is amazing. The menu is diverse and the presentation of the food far exceeded our expectations of a restaurant in the Qld University precinct. The green papaya salad and the whole fried fish (Thai style, of course) were the standouts. Service was great and the decor has some nice touches. It's a bit more expensive than other Thai restaurants in St Lucia but it isn't really aimed at the student budget/take-away market.

Our fav Thai take away. We have tried lots of different Thai take aways but now only order from Thai at home. Friendly service and easy order on the phone to pick up.

We went to the evening after thai at home (6 people) and decided to go for a banquet. there were various delicious dishes (such as cocosnussroy prawns, satay chickens, oma’s massaman slowly cooked bark curry my favourite, pad thai, chili basilikum ente, chili. basilikum calamari and much more). eating was fabulous, very authentic thai. the desert (included) was thai black sticky rice pudding with vanilla eis was delicious and highly recommended. and the service was very friendly and efficient. we were there on Saturday at 18:30 and it was not so busy. it looks like it's a good time to go there, as it could be more business later (long waiting time).

We were a group of eight that had been at a meeting at UQ and wanted to end the evening with dinner. We had a very short wait while tables/place settings were re-arranged for us. Water and menus appeared very quickly and we perused the menus. After ordering the wait wasn't too long at all. Steaming hot, delicious food was appearing in quick succession. My Pad Thai (with added Tofu) was delicious and just how I like it. A variety of dishes were ordered from an entree (served as a main as requested) to full dishes like mine. Everything smelled fantastic and there was nothing left on anyone's plate at the end of our meal. The costs were very reasonable and we will happily go there again.
