Big Woodys Bbq - St. Charles

We had the big pork steak and it was delicious! Just wish I had asked for extra sauce, but I won't forget next time!

The food is good!!!! The fried pickles came off in one piece when I took a bite…the whole pickle. There was too much breading. There were passive aggressive signs EVERYWHERE! One said “if you wanna talk about politics, go to a bar Thanks, Woody” woody had obviously never been to a bar! And the sign that said if you don’t like the music here, don’t sit here! Thanks, Woody There were too many passive aggressive things! Another was “Jesus knows if you are tipping” at the register. All they do is take your order and walk to you and expect you to put your garbage away. Why am I tipping? Needlessly to say I will never go here again. I like to bring my husband to new places, but this was below par on the “ambience” people talk about. I felt like I could not be human, being censored in so many ways because of their passive aggressive signage. It needs to be taken down. If you really have that “cat calling “ customer that is written on another bag to the left of the register, do not give them service until they they are through with their phone call! Or just out and tell people you don’t tolerate different personalities! It’s easy!!! Passive aggressive behavior is narcissistic, as well. Run your business as you want. Btw, the lady at the register looked at me like I had 5 heads when I asked if they had anything other than soda to drink. She said “Iced Tea”. I was like no beer??? And then the look. Beer and bbq go together hand in hand, babydoll. End of rant.

The BBQ and sides at this restaurant are fantastic. If you enjoy barbecue, this is definitely a place you should try. I can't get enough of the Hog Balls - they are now my favorite dish!
