Kfc - St. Augustine

We dined at the KFC in St. Augustine tonight, and both my husband and I were impressed by how delicious the fried chicken was—it truly was the best KFC chicken we've ever had. The staff at the counter were very friendly, and the restaurant was spotless. Additionally, while we were eating, the manager came out to check if we had everything we needed and to ensure our food was satisfactory. I found that incredibly thoughtful, as I've never experienced a manager at a fast-food restaurant taking the time to verify customer satisfaction. We ordered the bucket of chicken meal along with sides, and we will definitely be coming back.

I was really let down by my recent experience at KFC, which is usually one of my go-to takeout places. My wife ordered a bucket of chicken for our family, but the breading was soggy and falling apart. The half-gallon of lemonade tasted more like watered-down lemon. The sides—macaroni, mashed potatoes, and coleslaw—were acceptable, but overall, I felt quite disappointed. I won’t be coming back to this location.

This KFC has really turned things around! The past few years have been challenging for them, but I'm thrilled to see they have such a fantastic staff now. Our food was fresh and served quickly, and the employees were all smiling and friendly.

I used to work in the same shopping center, so I thought I’d give this place a shot during my break. After waiting in line for fifteen minutes, I was told they were out of tenders. I decided to give it another chance on a different day. However, when I sat at the counter for ten minutes without even being greeted, I called out to someone. The man there asked me to wait, but after another ten minutes with no response, I decided I wouldn’t return.

Fantastic restaurant—it's one of the tidiest KFCs in town, which I truly appreciate! The chicken was warm and tasty, and the fries were also fresh. Plus, they offer plates for dining, which is a nice addition.
