Wakey Wakey Cafe - Southend-on-Sea

The only decent cafe in this part of town that was open Monday lunchtime! An entire vegan is available in addition to the Polish/English food on the main menu. A lot of standard fare (burgers, sausages etc. are made on the premises. Service was efficient and friendly. Main meals are £7 to £10, teas/coffees £1.60 to £3, smoothies are around £4. A small selection of cakes for £1 to £2. Shame it closes 3pm...

Second time visiting and both meals have been fantastic. The fact that the place was full should tell you everything you need to know. Staff are lovely and the food is absolutely delicious. Definitely give them a try.

It was very nice. Friendly staff, tasty food that came out quickly and family friendly. We felt very welcome with our 2 year old. Will definitely be going back.
