Tapastrie - South Bend

The restaurant has a fantastic ambiance, with fast and friendly service. The menu is varied and interesting, and the location is convenient. The three of us each ordered our own dishes, which we then shared family-style. The staff even worked with the birthday child to make sure they got their favorite drink just right. While the prices may seem a bit high, the quality of the food and service is worth it. They know their target audience and deliver accordingly.

I came here for some cocktails after dinner and it was fantastic! The bartenders were very friendly and the drinks were delicious. We tried the lemon and lingonberry tart for dessert, and it was one of the best I've ever had. I also recommend trying the anonymous coffee (educated), even though I don't usually like coffee, it was phenomenal. If I lived in South Bend, I would definitely come here regularly.

Stopped by for Restaurant Week. The fresh ingredients and clever pairing of pistachio and coconut cream on chickpea cake with mixed berries was outstanding. The vegan dessert was a hit with everyone. Four courses for $22 during Restaurant Week, with an additional charge for paella, was definitely worth it. Bring a friend and order the regular Restaurant Week entree along with the paella - you won't be disappointed!

The animated discussions of the diners strengthened the ambiente. I'm going on myself when I forgot the names of our server, but this guy has been drying the table service, bringing us right after the teller, while we keep our glasses filled. we enjoyed his appetizer recommended by grilled carrots. a pleasant yet simple surprise.

I had my wedding in the wine cellar here a few weeks ago, and everything was spectacular! The food was amazing, the drinks were excellent, but even that was nowhere near the service we got from the wonderful staff. The waiters were so kind and the event planner was so attentive to us- they really went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. All of our guests commented on how wonderful they were treated and it really could not have gone better. You can't put a price on quality service- we were treated like family. Thank you Tapastrie!
