Cafe Rustica - Somerville

I really enjoy visiting this place because it has a warm, welcoming neighborhood vibe. The people are wonderful, and it's a lovely spot to relax for a while, especially outside in the summer. The food and coffee are decent—not extraordinary, but I'm just grateful to have a place like this nearby.

The blueberry muffins are excellent, and the outdoor seating is serene. They offer a great variety of drinks and pastries as well. The staff is very friendly too!

I ordered a double espresso and an egg sandwich (two eggs with sausage, onions, red peppers, and cheddar cheese) from the friendly gentleman at the counter and found a seat. My coffee and food arrived almost instantly and were piping hot. The espresso was strong and flavorful, paired with a delicious everything bagel packed with fresh, steaming ingredients; what’s not to love? The total was just $10, which is a fantastic deal considering the quantity and quality of the food. The gentlemen running the café were professional and courteous. I couldn't have asked for a better experience — highly recommended! Café Rústica has just gained another regular customer.

I don't know how I would have made it through grad school without their coffee and their uplifting words. This place is truly a hidden gem, and I wish more people knew about it. The food is fantastic, and the owners are incredibly friendly and kind. They even offered me free coffee on days when I was feeling down!

The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The menu features a wonderful selection of options. We tried the bagel sandwiches, and while we found the bagels to be a bit bouncier than we expected, the two scrambled eggs did somewhat overpower the sausage. Overall, I highly recommend this place and would definitely love to return. The wait time was also quite reasonable.
