Bidrage med feedbackThe restaurant has a really cool decor and features excellent live music. The menu offers a unique blend of Asian, Mexican, and German fusion dishes. I tried the Asian Chicken Salad, but it was quite basic—just romaine lettuce with some grilled chicken and sesame-ginger dressing. On the other hand, the nachos were fantastic—definitely a must-order! The drinks were good, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the staff was friendly. Overall, I would rate this place around 3.5 stars.
The service was fantastic, and the beer selection was excellent, especially considering the mountaintop setting. Their location is perfectly positioned in the saddle between the main mountain and Silver Creek.
When I inquired about their canned beer options, I found that there were very few choices available. I also asked if we could get growlers to go, but that request was denied. I decided to go with the blonde ale since it was one of the few options I thought I’d enjoy. Upon picking up our order, the restaurant was quite busy, and our food was ready. I asked to sample one of the beers on tap, and they were happy to let me try it. While I'm no expert, I do consider myself an informed beer drinker. Unfortunately, the beer didn’t impress me. It seems to cater to a captive audience who might not have many alternatives, as it’s likely the best you can find on the mountain. They serve the beer using a crowler station for mass distribution, but the quality seemed lacking. I’m not sure if they are purging the cans with CO2, but based on the carbonation when I opened mine, it seemed unlikely. The dissolved oxygen levels were poor, which affected the taste negatively. In the end, the beer is at best mediocre. I hope it improves in the future. Will it get you drunk? Yes, if you can manage to drink enough of it. But is it good? Definitely not. I recommend buying beer off the mountain unless you’re in a tight spot.
I made several calls—multiple ones! I called an hour ahead and was told there would be no problem, just come on in. But when we got off the shuttle, the woman at the restaurant informed us that we would have to be seated outside. From the start, the staff's attitude made it clear that they prioritize locals over visitors. I understand that, but I’m spending a significant amount of money during my vacation, especially for my wife’s 40th birthday! This experience was extremely disappointing!
Overall, I was not impressed ... Although the ahi tuna tacos were tasty, the nachos appetizer did not have enough toppings to cover the chips. Orders and refills were given at the counter and delivered to the table. When asking for a refill because they don't come back to your table) my husband was scolded for not having his mask on. Covid is fast becoming an excuse for high food prices and slacking customer service.
