Java Haus Cafe - Snohomish

I've been visiting this restaurant for just over a year, and I originally loved it for their handmade sandwiches, especially compared to other places that serve frozen or microwaved options. However, I’ve been a bit disappointed during my last five visits. I've received the wrong sandwich several times, which has been quite frustrating. I really hope things improve moving forward because I truly enjoy this place.

I ordered a drink and received a quote at the first window, which I paid. After waiting for about 10 minutes, I got to the second window where the employee changed the price of my drink, and then I had to wait for them to make it. Normally, they serve amazing drinks here, but my Caramel Mocha Shake came out looking white and tasted more like caramel and vanilla. It was a 16 oz size and cost $6.50.

I ordered a Philly cheese sandwich without paprika and a frappuccino. When I asked about the usual chips, I was informed that they were out of stock. Unfortunately, the sandwich arrived with paprika, despite my request to omit it, and it was quite dry. To make things worse, the frappuccino contained a flavor I’m allergic to, and there was no acknowledgment of this issue. The woman at the counter was a frustrating combination of pushy and incompetent, which led me to leave before I expressed my frustration. I'm not sure what has happened to this place, as it used to be excellent. I certainly won’t be coming back.

Great little place to get a latte or a sandwich. Their sandwiches are a hardy meal. They even have a healthy portion of oatmeal. The king of food items is the McDaddy! It's a glorious breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese, sausage and ham! Amazing! They are well-staffed because their drive thru is always busy and they keep a good attitude even when they're crazy busy!
