Steak 'n Shake - Smyrna

The fries tasted stale and were greasier than usual for a Steak 'n Shake.

This was my first time ordering from this location, and I found the burgers, fries, and sweet tea to be delicious.

EDIT: The owner recognized me as I walked in tonight and explained that the method for making shakes had changed. He even offered me a free shake while I enjoyed my meal. This gesture really meant a lot to me because he not only remembered my previous comments but also recognized me from my profile picture (which is small, but I look just like it). This speaks volumes about his character, and I applaud him for it. I'll always remember this kind gesture as a true mark of integrity. Cheers to you, sir!

I had the best steak shake burger I've ever tasted! The fries were hot and crispy, and the burger was incredibly fresh. The cup of chili was also delicious. The service was quick and efficient. I will definitely return!

While Steak 'N Shake as a brand is generally a great restaurant, this particular location has consistently disappointed me. The cleanliness inside has always been subpar, even since their grand opening. The quality of the food here often raises concerns for me. On my most recent visit, I found the restaurant closed before 9 PM, despite Google stating a 10 PM closing time, which was quite frustrating. I sincerely hope that someone in a management position sees this and takes action regarding the management of this location. On a brighter note, the staff member at the drive-thru was exceptionally nice and friendly. I usually brace myself for poor service at fast-food places, but in this case, I was pleasantly surprised. Additionally, I have to mention the fries—they were absolutely fantastic! Perfectly salty and delicious! Kudos to the team for the great food and overall positive experience; I hope this continues!
