Pizza Shoppe - Smithville

I was disappointed during my recent visit. They were out of chips that typically accompany the Italian sandwich, but they offered a salad as a substitute for an extra charge. Unfortunately, the lettuce was brown and slimy, making it inedible—absolutely disgusting. I really enjoy their pink salad dressing, so this was a letdown. The Italian sub lacked meat, and the cheese had an unappealing orange color. On a positive note, the pizza was good. Even though I opted for takeout, the interior felt dark and dingy. Overall, it wasn't the best experience.

The food is consistently excellent! The staff are friendly. I really enjoy the Happy TV. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all 5 out of 5!

My order, along with everyone else's, took an additional 30 minutes to prepare, and I’m not sure why, as the restaurant didn’t appear to be understaffed or particularly busy. The pizza was enjoyable, but the salad was missing the real bacon for which I paid an extra $1.29.
