Bristol - Sintra

We were walking by and decided to stop for brunch. The tosta mista was ok, but the coffee was terrible (seemed watered down). The service not very good, either. The waiter was all smiles to entice us to enter, but once the food was served, seemed to ignore us completely. The worst was the location. Do not choose an outdoor table! There is a sharp curve in the road and an intersection, so there are cars, tuktuks and large tour buses slowly turning, or stopped at the traffic light just a few feet in front!

We ended up here in our visit to the city because of the name of the place. I'm from Bristol and it caught my attention. It was quite ok, we let ourselves be recommended by the waiter and he suggested us some local dishes that were nice. Price was ok and the service good.

The woman (yes. She is no lady), she is either the manager or the owner given she is the only one in white uniform. She is rude to say the least. After the fish lunch, I went inside and wanted to use the restroom to wash up. Just when I tried to step in, this woman stopped me and told me sternly the bathroom floor was wet. And asked me sternly to go back sit at my table. The she would come and get me. The place I was standing was not crowded. So I told her that I would just wait here a little bit then. She told me even more sternly: go to sit at your table and then I would get you. I thought it was too much. But then I did not want to get into any debates. So I went back and sat down at my table. After a while, of course she did not come to get me and I also thought the whole thing was very odd. So I went inside again. And saw one lady came out of the bathroom and another lady went in. So I went in after the 2nd lady. I came back out and sat down at our table. I just could not comprehend what happened. Then I got it. Now this woman came out to set another table. When she turned around she saw me sat there. She acted as she had just found me and told me that I could use the bathroom now. I told her that I had used it and I also told her that she was rude to me. And she did not let me use the bathroom because she thought I was not a customer (there was a sign outside the restaurant). The woman just went berserk. Wagged her finger at me and spoke loud and down at me. And said I was rude to her. I stopped talking and left it at it was what it was. BUT after a few minutes, she brought out a lady and said that was the lady was inside cleaning the bathroom. That is why she did not let me in. I told her that I did not see the lady AND she told me the floor WAS WET!

Direkt an der Kreuzung gelegen, wurde ich für Kaffee und Kuchen auch aus Umgebung / Atmosphäre empfohlen, um mehr als 2/3 Punkte zu essen. der service super schön und freundlich 1 punkt. auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis würde eine volle Punktzahl haben, aber dann nur 2/3 Punkte wegen des Geschmacks. Sauberkeit und Hygienemaßnahmen sind gut 1 Punkt. der Geschmack des Essens ok, aber auch nur, um gefüttert zu werden, gibt es eine bestimmte zusätzliche, einfach Liebe in der Vorbereitung. also nur 1/2 Punkte zusammen, dann 4 Punkte

I thought here was a few brot and typical cheese (soloio from sintra) and a glass vinho verde (which was huge. the personal was so kind to explain everything on the menu. they had no budding because they serve what is caught on that day, and they did not really like what the boats had so in to take it from the menu on that day, what I think is a good sign they care about. they were also very attentive to me, helped me move my place to be still in the sun as it moved.
