Pizzeria Al Piano Superiore - Siena

My wife and I came here spontaneously without checking reviews and I am happy we did. Despite the low review (currently 1.9), the food was delicious, the service was good (in particular, the owner was very attentive), and the atmosphere was nice. My only complaint was, as stated by other reviewers, they only accept cash and don’t say this beforehand. This why I gave 4/5 for service. This wouldn’t be an issue if they were upfront about it, but I had to take an impromptu trip to an ATM to pay for our meal. That said, I would definitely recommend this place to a friend and am happy to rate it 5/5. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

The food was not good the cheese was rubbery and the tomato sauce was watery. They gave me a dirty knife and they were not able to give me a menu in English. The food took 30 minutes to arrive and we had three waiters who were not on the same page. When we were done we didn’t get to pay with card because the machine was broken so we had to go to an atm to take out cash and then pay. They did not tell us this before we ordered. Horrible restaurant, took 90 minutes to get our food. Rude and unfriendly staff. Unable to pay by card. Caprese was tasteless, pizze were very bad, almost like frozen pizze. Don't go there. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €20–30

A drink and a beer 14 euro. Claims they don't take card in 2022 (they do) but we had to go get cash. No smiles. A Shame. Don't go!

DO NOT GO HERE. They didn’t tell us cash only at any time and then when we asked to pay, they said sorry no working machine. Just ridiculous. The service was terrible, and food was nothing special.
