Pheasant At Neenton - Shropshire

We had a wonderful experience at this charming country pub. The food was delicious and the service from Lydia was excellent. The Pheasant schnitzel with hand-cut chips and vegetables was perfectly executed and reasonably priced. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you for a lovely time. I arrived at the restaurant today, 24/11, and was greeted with a fantastic smile and enthusiasm by Andy. I had booked the pheasant for my birthday celebration as it is not far from home and after searching extensively for a local hotel with exceptional food, we decided on this one. I can confidently say that it lived up to my expectations. I received a warm welcome, the food menu was great, and the hotel rooms were lovely. The only reason I have given it a 4-star rating is because of the noise from downstairs that could be heard in the hotel room. It is now 12:52 and I can clearly hear the conversations of people talking. That is the only complaint I have. Otherwise, it would have been a 5-star rating. We will definitely be back, but only for the food and drink. Well done, keep up the good work.

We had a wonderful, laid-back lunch at The Pheasant. The variety on the menu was fantastic. We chose a main dish and dessert. I ordered the cod fillets with curry sauce, chickpeas, and cauliflower while my husband had the locally sourced rump steak. Both dishes were incredibly tasty and elegantly served. For dessert, I had the chocolate fondant and my husband had the apple and blackberry pie. Once again, both desserts were flawless and delicious. The warm reception, attentive service, and outstanding food all contributed to a fantastic dining experience, as always.

The menu is imaginative, interesting and supports local suppliers. The service was good. The venue is relaxed.

From the ease of booking ,attentive confirmation and a warm welcome . I felt it was going to be a good night. My family and I all had one problem too many delishious dishes on the menu and it was hard to chose. ,My wife had the Mackerel and Steak both dishes full of flavour, my son had squid and duck and was very happy with his food , my other son had Crab salad followed by Belly pork and thoroughly enjoyed both. I had 2 starters chicken livers and crispy chicken thigh followed by Chicken shnitzel all very very good Overall it was one of the nicest meals we have had in a long time Thank you very much everyone at the Pheasant
