The One Up - Sherman Oaks

I was in the mood for sangria, but it wasn't on the menu. However, the bartender whipped one up for me, and it was fantastic! I'm generally easy to please, but I have to say, the buffalo tots were absolutely incredible.

This is a fantastic stop while bar hopping. The drinks are excellent, and they offer FREE arcade games. It's a nice lounge with some enjoyable features. Don’t miss the great Pilsner on tap!

I celebrated my birthday at this restaurant, and it was fantastic. The reservation process was straightforward, and they reached out to confirm our details before the day. The drinks were incredible—my favorite was the Yippee Ki Yay MotherF@%er, which had a wonderfully smoky flavor. The food was also outstanding; I can't resist the Cap’n Crunch Wings every time. The staff were down-to-earth and very friendly. Plus, the cabinet games are free to play; while they might be simpler than some other barcade games, they are still a lot of fun. The combination of 80s films playing on the TVs and the lighting creates one of my favorite atmospheres in LA.

The staff was attentive and not overwhelming. The guy informed us that he would bring us everything we needed, and the drinks were quite good. They weren't overly strong or watered down, allowing us to enjoy them without having to buy too many just to feel the alcohol. Overall, I would rate the service a 4 out of 5.

The bartenders were excellent. Despite it being a Saturday at 8 PM, there were plenty of open tables. The food was delicious, and I have no complaints. Food rating: 5/5.
