This hidden gem in Shenandoah is a great place to grab lunch. The lunch special is reasonably priced and the burger delicious. Love, love the old fashioned sodas.

What a great burger joint! A clean, friendly environment, with great food at a good price. Kylie was the employee face of her business today, and she killed it. Friendly, very helpful with our purchase, and even ran out the door after us when I left my water bottle on the table. I'm glad to see young people with customer service skills and a company that supports it.We got the BLTA, the Hickory Burger, Onion rings, and Cajun fries. Everything was delicious. We'll be back!Btw, they support first responders and military with a discount, another plus.

As I waited, I noticed more customers arriving and placing orders. I expected my meal to be prioritized, especially given the situation, but that was not the case. Instead, I watched other guests, who had ordered after me, receive their meals before I did. Normally, I consider myself a patient person, even after such an incident, so I continued to wait while my family almost finished their food. After 20 to 30 minutes, I decided to approach the register since it became clear that everyone who had ordered after me had already received their meals. To my astonishment, when I asked about my order, no one at the register had a clue why my food had not yet arrived. They had literally forgotten my meal that had the hair in it! I was understandably furious. How could they not prioritize fixing a customer's order that had been compromised? The cashier, who wasn't the one I initially spoke with, told me they could prepare a new meal for me, but by then, my appetite was long gone. I opted for a refund, which they processed back to my credit card. It seemed that the restaurant was being run by younger staff members, which is understandable for weekend or part-time work, but there really needs to be a level of professionalism when it comes to handling food. As for the food itself, the items my family ordered were good, but not exceptional. I don’t like writing negative reviews, but given the hair in my food and the lackluster customer service in handling the situation, I felt it was important to share my experience.
