La Pianella - SESTO FIORENTINO

We ate here our first night as we got in late. The food was so good we came back another night to eat. This has been the best food we have had so far in Italy. We tried a variety of dishes and every one was great. The risotto, the pacchieri, the spaghetti and seafood for two are all fantastic. The tiramisu is heavenly! The service is very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We stayed in an air bnb on the same street anf the owner had recommended this restaurant. On our first night, we visited them and we ended up going there for every night of our stay! Firstly, the restaurant has such simple and lovely decor and its pristine clean! The service we received from the owner and the lovely Brisilda was exceptional she helped us choose the dishes as we were unaware of what to order and all her recommendations were great. The food was so authentic with fresh ingredients and the pizza was also great, cooked right infront of our eyes on the open wood fire. They kindly offered us complimentary limoncello and also prosecco on our last night when we came to collect our pizzas. Our experience in this restaurant really made our trip to Florence even more special and we will definitely come visit them again when we are ever back in Florence. Grazie to the chef, the owner and Brisilda for their outstanding hospitality!!
