The Big Elk - Sequim

I had a fantastic dining experience at Big Elk Restaurant. The BLT sandwich was delicious, made with perfectly toasted wheat bread, tasty bacon, and pickles. The onion rings were clearly homemade and not the frozen kind. The New York steak was cooked just how I like it (medium-well) and was still juicy. The service was excellent.

I have been visiting the peninsula for more than ten years and always thought "that place looks good." We finally decided to stop in and it was amazing. It happened to be all-you-can-eat oyster special night. I almost felt guilty finishing my third plate of oysters for $22, but they were excellent.

This restaurant is fantastic for meals at any time of day. The food is delicious and the portions are big. I've visited multiple times and have trouble picking a favorite dish because everything is so good. I particularly enjoy the elk burger, clam chowder, and the all-you-can-eat oysters. The staff is friendly and helpful, making the dining experience even better. I highly recommend dining here.

Excellent everything. First, the restaurant was a comfortable temperature. I hate it when I need a parka to enjoy my meal. The Surf-n-turf and the medium halibut dinner were good size proportions and tasted excellent. Their coleslaw is a sweet coleslaw and was very tasty. I had a blackberry lemon drop that was a full size glass and very tasty as well. A great restaurant that we will definitely be frequenting when we go to Sequim.

Great experience. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Big portions. I had the elk burger, my wife had the crispy chicken salad.Both very good and prices are very reasonable considering the quality and portions. Seems to be popular with the locals. Definitely recommend.
