Bidrage med feedbackThis is a wonderful place to discover authentic jewelry at excellent prices while in Sedona. During the day, you'll find around ten tables set up outside the Dairy Queen, displaying a diverse selection of handmade jewelry.
The restaurant had lively, upbeat music playing, and the bathrooms were clean. The service was friendly, and the ice cream was fantastic! They offered Sedona and Oak Creek souvenirs as well. Firewood was available for 99 cents more than at the nearby campsites. Outside of Dairy Queen, there were stands selling handmade Native American jewelry and other crafts. It was a lovely treat while camping in Oak Creek!
After savoring a Mexican lunch in Sedona, Gigi suggested that a Blizzard would be the perfect treat. So, we made our way up Oak Creek Canyon to the nearest Dairy Queen. The staff member at the counter was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We chose a booth by the windows, which provided a lovely view of the canyon. I even took a picture of my strawberry shake with the breathtaking scenery in the background.
I was driving through the mountains, taking in the beautiful scenery, when I came across this Dairy Queen. Even though we arrived just five minutes before closing, the service was prompt and friendly. My Blizzard was made perfectly, as was my wife's dipped cone. This DQ is quite unique; you wouldn't normally expect to find one in such a natural setting, but it fits in perfectly. Additionally, there’s a large gift shop for tourists. I can only imagine that during the day, this place is quite busy, but when we visited at 6:55 PM on a Saturday, we were the only customers there.
The restaurant is pleasant and well-maintained. The prices for food are slightly higher compared to places in the valley. During the summer, local artisans display and sell their jewelry on the concrete tables. They are all very friendly and create some incredible pieces.
