Wanda's Mofongo House #2 - Scranton

My family and I visited the restaurant to celebrate my brother's birthday, but we had a disappointing experience. The service was terrible; they forgot one of the dishes in our order, leaving that person unable to eat. There was no apology for the mix-up. While we had enjoyed it before for the food, after this visit, we definitely won’t be returning. The food didn’t taste the same, and we were not offered any appetizers. The waitress explained that there were no appetizers available because the owner hadn't gone out to buy any. Additionally, some menu items were listed but not available; we only got the basic options.

The food was fantastic, and the service was excellent—very friendly and exceptionally clean. I would definitely go back!

I really enjoyed the yaroa with pork; it was incredibly flavorful. I also appreciated the option for outdoor dining!
