The Railyard Restaurant Bar - Scranton

First of all, there were underage girls being kicked out, which was strange since they were allowed in in the first place. It created quite a scene. Secondly, I asked my sister how much I should tip on my $18 drink tab, and she shared her usual tipping advice. We were then rudely interrupted by the bartender, who bluntly stated that if I didn’t tip the way he suggested, the bartenders might not put any alcohol in my drink and would purposely ignore me. I was taken aback because I don't believe tipping should be mandatory. It's the bartender's responsibility to serve alcohol. It felt like he was implying that this is how things work at this place! While the music was enjoyable, the service was disappointing, and I definitely wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

I visited this restaurant with some friends after work, and the food was fantastic. The only thing that surpassed the food was the drinks! Our server was incredibly friendly as well. I can't wait to go back soon!

Delicious food! We dined on the patio. I had the Candy Peach Martini and the Mac and Cheese Burger. The drink was a bit stronger than I expected, but I didn’t mind at all! I was a little let down that there wasn’t a candy peach ring garnish as the description mentioned, but after waiting a long time for it to arrive, I decided not to ask about it. The food was amazing, the service was warm and accommodating, and we celebrated my son's birthday here. Everyone had a fantastic time! We'll definitely be coming back!

I had an excellent meal with fantastic drinks. The restaurant features two full bars on either side of the room. Everything was served hot, fresh, and delicious. Justin, our waiter, was very attentive and provided great service. The live music on Friday night was also enjoyable. We didn’t try dessert because we were too full, which is a good sign of a satisfying meal!
