Coney Island Lunch - Scranton

This restaurant is one of my local favorites. The food is outstanding, especially in a world filled with fast food and subpar dining options—this place truly stands out. Be sure to try the rice pudding!

This place is absolutely amazing! I've been coming here since I was a child, as my mom used to bring me here when I was little. In fact, she used to come here when she was a kid too, back when it was located under the bridge in Scranton. They serve the best Texas wieners ever!

I have fond memories of visiting this restaurant as a special treat during my childhood. Now living in Western PA, I always make it a point to stop by whenever I drive through Scranton.

We were on a day trip to Scranton today, from the Albany, NY area, and had a late lunch this afternoon at CIL. Terrific food and great service. The counter reminded us of a bustling lunch counter at a downtown Woolworth's, from years ago. Have a great day guys!

Had a wonderful lunch today! That was the tastiest chili dog I've had in years and those gravy fries were to die for Our waitress was a sweetheart as well. I can't wait to go back!
