Am See Cafe - Schluchsee

Then you are in the garden from the Café am See. A nice walk I wanted to take with my children a few years ago. At that time I had written to the Kurverwaltung, why there is nothing in the place where children return. The expensive hotels in the centre are not suitable for every day. In the meantime, it has changed, but as still today, the café at the lake is a good alternative. Here, along with good cakes and cakes, you can also get small, inexpensive meals, such as sausage, toaste or soups. For some years we have taken our lunch meal here in the garden or in the spacious guest room. And was sad when the boss was suddenly closed for years. We haven't been here for a long time because there was a deal for substances that didn't interest me. This year I went over again and was thrilled. It was back, in a new direction, to the café. With cheap daily meals and beautiful cakes. Rahmschnitzel with Pfifferlingen and Spätzle were offered weekly. I didn't miss that. Renovated inside, the small idyllic garden, with playground, as once. With magnificent views over the lake. The trail also goes along the lake, this time on the other side of the tracks. Of course you can also come by car, there is a small parking a few meters away. Very recommended, who doesn't want to eat in the hotel. Top location, child-friendly, clean and nice service.

We found ourselves here on a beautiful Sunday, our first visit to the gorge lake. So looked out for a possibility to add us comfortably to eat a little bit and drink something. from far, it also looked quite promising. from the close, you then saw old, exuberant plastic chairs. Well, I don't have to say anything. we had to wait a long time until an operation was compassed to serve us. We were told that the kitchen closes by 14.00 o'clock, so it is virtually impossible to order still food. on the basis of my statement that we arrived at 13.40 a.m. and that this was not due to us, the order was taken seriously. 2 flame-cakes, once white with potato salad. the drinks came then also at some point, not even cold and from the bottle to sing in!!!The eating was really bad. flammable cake and too salty and too much speck on it. really fresh this didn't work either.These eatable, here you can't do much wrong. the prices in consideration of what is offered are a groundless cheeky! probably this locally only makes money with recurring coffee guests and cake friends. for me this was the last and only visit here. the one point is actually too much.So bad I have never experienced a local.Never ever!

Pommes fries are only available for children. I can't understand. had so much fun on Pommes. We have ordered flaky cakes vegetarian and found speck and meatlike on our cake.The worst thing we found was a crooked hair, more cuddly is no longer possible.
