Boxcar - Santa Fe

I traveled from Dallas to Santa Fe to ring in the New Year with my family. We wanted to watch the Longhorns and Washington game, which they had on at the restaurant. The atmosphere was fantastic, and there were plenty of TVs. Mario ensured we had excellent seats and took care of us. This is definitely a 5-star establishment. I highly recommend giving them a try - you won't be disappointed!

Boxcar was a fantastic choice for lunch during our holiday shopping trip. The atmosphere was fun and enjoyable, with polite and well-behaved patrons cheering on their college and NFL teams while enjoying their favorite drinks. As a fan of the Sooners, I was thrilled to watch Kyler Murray (AZ Cardinals), CeeDee Lamb (Dallas Cowboys), and the infamous Baker Mayfield (TB Buccaneers) all on the screens at the same time. The food was delicious and portion sizes were generous, and the wait staff was friendly, attentive, and patient with our kids. Whether you're looking for a place to grab a drink during a busy shopping day or a spot to watch a game, Boxcar is a great choice. You never know who might walk through the door!

I decided to try this restaurant on Christmas day since it was one of the few places open. Unfortunately, the food was bland and lacked flavor. The prices were also on the higher side. The atmosphere was nice with a match playing on the big screen, but overall, I would not go back next time.

You must go to boxcar, and get the Burnt ends cheesy grits. Seriously. The best food we had in Santa Fe, BY FAR! Its a family recipe and it truly ROCKS. Great service, exceptional food, fun atmosphere, and the owner came by each table to make sure everything was good. No, it was GREAT! Thanks for being open on Christmas :

Had breakfast and the coffee was great. Eggs cooked just right. Parking was tough, had to use the parking garage. Found out they will give you 2.00 off your bill if you show a parking ticket.
