Goat Tree - Santa Barbara

This restaurant has the best corner patio with options for shade and plenty of sun. The margaritas are excellent and the fries are so good that you won't want to share them. The Baby Kale Salad with chickpeas and added salmon was delicious. The Goat Treat is also really good.

We had an amazing evening at this restaurant. The patio had a calm and warm atmosphere, with palm trees and amber lights overhead. The food was fresh and the specialty strawberry drink was delicious. The tables were well spaced out, better than most other places. The wait staff were friendly, although they could improve on returning to the table in a timely manner. We realized they were closing when they started stacking chairs around us, which caused a delay in getting our bill. It would be helpful if they informed guests that they are closing so they can be aware and pay their bill promptly. Overall, a great experience with just a small suggestion for improvement.

The Cafe was short-staffed but they still allowed us to order takeout and sit inside. The staff was friendly. The coffee was excellent, as were the croissant and chocolate cake, but the macarons were too sweet for our liking so we didn't eat them. The prices were quite high.

Brunch was delightful, freshly baked croissants, muffins, almond pastry, macaroons, a good variety of brunch items including smoked salmon, **** mary's, outdoor eating space perfect for families

Had a beautiful fruit pastry it was worth every decadent bite! At first try the counter server took one of the beautiful croissants with fruit on top and dumped it upside down in the bag. I couldn’t believe what I saw her do. The service was not equal to the beautiful food served nor the magnificent atmosphere. I suggest management get on top of this and look forward to returning. Hope this place makes it as the desserts and pastries are very special. We had to wait a long time to be served the food we ordered.
