So Grill Korean Bbq And Sushi - Sandy

We used to go to So Grill regularly but have not been for a while. Unfortunately, it seems to have gone down hill since our last visit. The tables and the grills were dirty and the area to get your sauces and utensils was dirty. We have loved getting the salmon in the past but when we ordered it this time whatever we received looked terrible. We were not sure what it was but it most certainly did not look like salmon filets. The service is fine but it seems like they are running low on quality supplies and when it is even a little busy most of the appetizers and better meats take a while to arrive at the table. Overall, our experience was so poor we will probably not be going back any time soon.

Food was absolutely terrible. Salmon on the menu came out grey, all the meat was grey, cooked sides were meh at best. Never going to come back here. Service was good other than that I would never go here again!!

Do not get the Salmon filet unless you want to taste the fishy taste all night. Had to be some sort of catfish. Kinda made me nauseous when he set it on the table. Stick to the beef can’t go wrong with that.

Great price point and killer ambiance. Very moody black and red decor with Chihuly looking glass lighting. BBQ was very good and LARGE portions, beware not to over order! The sushi was not as good as I was hoping though . 2 of us got rolls and the rice was mushy and very limited fillings inside. It may have been a fluke,not sure So something to consider.

BEWARE!!This establishment decides it’s an amazing idea to always buy all the Soju from the Liquor Store next to them (bottles at the liquor store are not even $4) and RE-SELL them for $15!! They don’t even let you take the bottle with you ? the server had the audacity to laugh at my face and say “well we don’t buy all of them”, the liquor store employees are even angry that this is legal for them to sell something out that other people also want to try!! I have never eaten here but I always wanted to try it, after realizing that they are the ones to sell all the soju out every single time and resell a 3 dollar bottle for 15 dollars…I’ll definitely pass. Serves are a-holes to say the least and their ethics are definitely worse. Save yourself from this really expensive low quality food!!
