Cafe Chew - Sandwich

I had heard great things about Cafe Chew and, as a vegetarian, thought it was pretty good. However, when I visited as a vegan, I was disappointed. There were no vegan sandwich options on the menu, so I had to ask for a modified version with hummus. The person taking our order was unfriendly and unhelpful, and seemed confused when I asked for it to be made vegan. The sandwich was okay, but I felt I could have made a better hummus sandwich at home for much cheaper. Despite being a vegetarian for decades and finding better options in other places, being vegan in Cape Cod seems quite challenging.

I had the hummus and tabbouleh salad. It was very filling and the dressing was delicious. While it wasn't the most amazing vegan food I've ever had, the options were limited. If I were in the area and hungry, I would consider eating here again.

I dined at this restaurant with friends who are not vegan, and I was very impressed with the variety of options available for me. The menu clearly indicates the vegan dishes, and I enjoyed a delicious hummus salad. The staff was incredibly friendly, and I particularly enjoyed sitting outside on the quiet front terrace. I would definitely return to this restaurant.

But I had something that already came vegan (hummus tabouli wrap) and let me tell you it was delicious! I added avocado to the wrap and bought a coconut water! The wrap also came with a side of lays potato chips! Very good prices. The wrap (which was big) and the chips totaled under $8 quick service friendly staff nice atmosphere
