Le Phan - SANDRINGHAM

This has been our 'go to' Vietnamese for many many years. It has recently undergone a revamp. Our old favourites are still there with lots of exciting new additions. The food is reasonable priced, the service is friendly and fast and the atmosphere is relaxed.

We had a quick meal and it was good Thai food with lots of Thai patrons. They offer a glass of wine complimentary with your meal and are fully licenced. You can do BYO

Le Phan is one of our regular dinner with friend venues. Great food, lovely service, reasonably priced. They just redecorated. There is always nighttime parking behind the building.

Our first time going back since the place have been ramp up. New menu!!The food is so fresh full of herbs, open kitchen which shows that they have nothing to be afraid of..so different from other Asian restaurant!! Favourite dish so far, salt and pepper prawns!! So juicy! Pork ribs with caramelised fish sauce yummy!!

We'd been meaning to try Le Phan for a long time, and after eating there were sorry we hadn't tried it sooner. The food is uncomplicated, fresh, authentic, very tasty -- and the service is friendly. One thing -- we did request one of the dishes to be "mild" and it was still very hot (chilli hot!) so if you don't like hot food, I'd suggest asking to avoid the chilli altogether. Other than that we had a very enjoyable meal and it's good value.
