Mamacita's - San Marcos

This is one of my favorite spots! Just two words: green sauce. I could easily make a meal out of just green sauce with tortilla chips or tortillas. Everything I've tried here has been delicious. The tortillas are freshly made right in front of you and they taste amazing. It's one of my top choices for Mexican food whenever I'm in the area.

It's a nice spot with excellent drinks, salsa, and homemade tortillas. However, the downside is that it's located in San Marcos, where there are ten other places that are even better.

The service is excellent, the food is amazing, and the freshly-made tortillas are to die for! The guacamole has a delightful twist with the addition of sour cream. My family and I visit this restaurant frequently, and we have truly enjoyed every single experience! The family-friendly atmosphere is very inviting, and the option to reserve a room for special occasions has been incredibly helpful for my large family. All I can say is thank you, Mamacita's, for everything!

The food is absolutely Devine if you're a fan of tex-Mex. The tortillas are superb, made right in the restaurant. The salsa is perfectly tomatoey with just the right amount of spice. Order your chicken chimichanga with queso on top, instead of the regular sauce. I've never tried it any other way because the waitress recommended it to me on my first time there and it was DELICIOUS, with no extra charge :

We eat there often. The food is great if you like TexMex ... might not be your choice if you 're looking for traditional 'mexican ' food. Love their freshly made tortillas.
