King's Burger - San Jose

I had the double patty cheeseburger with bacon and cheese fries, along with a Coke. This is a genuine burger, perfect for those of us who work hard. If you’re looking for a veggie burger, you might as well take it back to your office job!

Kings Burger is a quintessential restaurant in San Jose, perfectly embodying the rich blend of cultures at the intersection of Little Saigon and the predominantly Latino East Side. This iconic spot serves as a bridge between two vibrant communities, making it a fantastic meeting point for both worlds.

I came across several positive reviews on Yelp and decided to give this place a try. There’s plenty of parking available, though it can be a bit cramped. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and a small drink, which came with thick crinkle-cut fries that had a nice crunch and were served piping hot. They just needed a little more salt. The burger included fresh lettuce, tomato slices, and some dill pickles. While the burger patty looked appealing, it lacked flavor. The cheese was melted perfectly, and overall, the sandwich was decent. However, as a cheeseburger, it was rather disappointing. There are several rice plates on the menu that caught my eye, so I might give those a shot next time.

The only good burger spot in San Jose is worth going to. Great food, cozy spot, and can be busy but they are quick on the grill!
