Blowfish Sushi To Die For - San Jose

The raw oyster shots are definitely worth trying! They have a wide variety of sake to choose from. After dinner, they play house music, making it a great spot to stay late in Santana Row if you're looking for a nice bar to visit.

This is my friends' and my favorite restaurant! We absolutely love the music, food, drinks, and art! The service is fantastic too! If you find the music too loud, just go before 8:30 or 9:00 PM, and you’ll have a great experience.

I believe that Blowfish Sushi is simply amazing, and everyone should definitely try their ostrich! While sushi is the main attraction, don't miss out on this unique dish.

Eat at the Bar. Earlier reviewers are right. The place is too loud to have a conversation at a table. Eat at the bar to escape the noise. The quality of the sushi and the decent sake list make Blowfish worth it. I recommend the sashimi the presention spews dry ice smoke billowing out of a tall pile of crushed ice. And yes, it may be a little douchey, but I like the anime scenes projected on the wall.

Blowfish is good. Their fish is decent and they have GREAT rolls to choose from. Atmosphere is excellent and they play good music at night. It's not my favorite sushi place, but I come here very often. You can find better sushi, but its not as much fun.
