Yin Ji Chang Fen - San Gabriel

The food quality is decent, but it's significantly overpriced compared to similar restaurants in the area. The service is practically non-existent. I had to find my own table, get my own place mat and menu, and the staff only provided a small piece of paper and a pen for me to write down my order. There was no water provided, let alone tea, and each person received just one paper napkin. To top it all off, they don’t accept credit cards. This was my first and last visit.

One of my favorite spots for Chang fen and congee! I absolutely love the beef and shrimp Chang fen, especially when paired with their chili oil—it's truly one of the best I've ever tasted! I find myself adding it to everything. Their century egg congee is packed with flavor and brings back memories of home. I also enjoy dipping the donut stick into the congee. This is definitely my go-to place for a Chinese breakfast!

This unpretentious spot offers genuine flavors and friendly service. It brings back memories of my time in Southern China.

This place is a scam, the price of our dishes is higher on our final check compared to the menu we were ordering.Also, the server demanded cash only with all the credit cards sign shown in the entrance. Food is oily and not that good. A couple of flies flying around in the restaurant so I worry about there sanitation. Only one server working in the restaurant and business very slow in this place. Would not come back no matter what.

I had a couple chang fen and a bowl of congee. Both pretty good. Pricing a bit high for the portion size and service was not great. But thats not what you ever go to a place like this for. Food was fine, would come back. Parking is easy in this strip mall.
