A Ri Rang Tofu House - San Gabriel

Got take out from this Korean Restaurant! I Check in on the Yelp app to get Free Drink but it was to dine in only! The owner was so nice that he gave me a can of COKE! That 's what i call Great Customer Service! Food was delicious and plentiful!

Went in for lunch with a friend on a Friday afternoon. Place was not super busy. Each one of us ordered a combination oyster tofu soup with a beef dish). Both beef dishes came out in 15 minutes. Waited 25 minutes still no tofu soups. People that came in after us already got their tofu soups. Asked the waitress several times and she said will be ready in 5 minutes. When they did, only brought one soup. Waitress did not put in the second order for the soup. Waited another 10 minutes for the second soup. Only 4 pieces of oysters in the soup. The egg was already put inside instead of giving you the raw egg to crack. Soup tasted ok. Generous serving of side dishes though. This place has changed. Services and foods not the same anymore.

I discovered this hidden gem during my trip to Los Angeles for my birthday in 2022. Although the line was long, the wait was absolutely worth it. My fiancé and I both ordered combination meals and were thrilled with our choices. The food is amazing! I especially loved the barley tea and the banchan, and the service was excellent. I will always remember how delicious the tofu soup was—I’ve even tried to recreate it at home, but I haven’t had any luck. During the ice storms over Christmas 2022, my fiancé and I had to drive from Phoenix to Portland due to a canceled flight. On Christmas Eve, we made a pit stop at A Ri Rang Tofu House since everything else around was closed. We were so delighted, and our stomachs were just as happy. I highly recommend this place!

The service was incredibly quick, and the food was excellent. The staff were friendly, and our meals arrived in under 20 minutes.
