Goat Hill Pizza - San Francisco

This is my local pizza place, and while I really enjoy their pizza, I find it a bit pricey. They offer vegan cheese and allow you to customize your toppings to create the perfect pizza. I've ordered from here several times!

The pricing on the menu doesn't match what you're actually charged. It listed a small pizza for $15.95, but when it arrived, the bill showed it as $19.95! The pizza itself wasn't very tasty either; the overpowering garlic flavor overwhelmed everything—especially in the Californian pizza. To top it off, I noticed a few days later that I was charged twice! I called them, and after being passed around to several managers, they did issue me a refund, but there was no apology or acknowledgment of the mistake. Overall, it was a disappointing experience—I would recommend avoiding this place.

The pizzas are baked using their homemade sourdough and have a delightful sprinkle of garlic powder on the crust. Yum! They also offer vegan cheese upon request. We tried the California pizza, which features artichoke, tomato, and garlic, and, of course, we opted for the vegan cheese. The flavor was amazing, and the crust was fantastic—truly a real pizza experience!

I tasted the pizza, and it was delicious. I went there with my mom, and she really enjoyed herself.

These pizzas are just fantastic. Bonus points for the Monday all you can eat and the thoughtful wine selection. The wines are uncommonly good and high value for a casual place; I was taken aback.
