Roy's La Jolla - San Diego

It was their last day of operation, and they didn't have the full wine selection available. We experienced difficulties with our order, both for cocktails and food. Our server was neither friendly nor attentive. Although I understand it was her last day, nothing was done to improve the situation.

Roy's has always been our go-to restaurant for special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries. We are really disappointed to hear that Roy's La Jolla has closed. We hope a new location will open soon in the UTC area. Thank you, Roy's, for all the amazing dinners!

We visited Roy's on her last day of service. The UTC location has been open for nearly 20 years, and we've been there countless times. Our server, Patrick, has often been our server over the years. He was very friendly and polite, providing honest and excellent recommendations for both drinks and food that we truly appreciated. We look forward to seeing him and our friends again at the UTC location. We plan to return to the city in the future because we love the food, drinks, and outstanding customer service at Roy's.

That was ingenious. they take reservations for a restraunt they close the next day!

I’m am so sorry to say that the Roy’s in La Jolla has closed. Now there is only the one down town! We’ll try it but it isn’t very convenient for those of us in University City. So sorry to see our Roy’s close. They were the best! Good Bye you lovely people! We’ll miss you all!!!!
