Do you ever feel like you have to fly to Japan? LOL okay it is not exactly the same, but Mitsuwa has a lot of food comfort! There are so many snacks, actually hot food, plastered plums, and more to choose! From mochi and fresh onigiri to gluten-free Kikkoman Panko, the possibilities are endless. You come in thinking you will buy one or two items and end up with a basket full! And you know what? You're interested, because you're in Japan! LOL anyway, I am so glad that this Japanese grocery store has been since the late 90s! What a treasure of San Diego!

My girls love Mitsuwa! From the Japanese candies and mochi, to the anime store inside of the store...it has become an establishment that we frequent quite often recently, TBH. They also love the coin-operated games when we first enter the store. As a bonus, it is only a few doors down from Book-Off. We can't go to one of those stores without visiting the other on the same shopping trip! Good times!
