Ken Sushi Workshop - San Diego

This neighborhood sushi restaurant is underrated and a hidden gem. Located in a small business complex, this unassuming sushi spot was surprisingly busy on a Wednesday. The staff were able to accommodate my colleague and me without a reservation, even though they were fully booked. The hospitality was exceptional, and the sushi and sashimi were delicious and exceeded our expectations. Additionally, when I forgot my receipt needed for a business expense, the staff kindly emailed me a copy, going above and beyond in their service.

Ken is the man. The atmosphere is fantastic, the food is amazing, and the service is top-notch. You won't be disappointed!

Great sushi, but even better service. Ken, the owner, is the sweetest man to exist. He connects with EVERY customer at the restaurant. He seriously is the best!! Go here!!

Hands down best sushi we’ve ever had in our lives. It’s pricey but worth every penny. Ken is unbelievably talented and treats everyone likes he’s their private chef. We came for my fiancé’s birthday and this now will be our go to sushi restaurant in San Diego. No question who is top dog in the SD sushi scene!

The food here is amazing! Try all the “specials”. (I put it in quotes because they are always the same). This is a great lunch spot during the week and is fun in the evenings on the weekend. Everyone that works here is super friendly and helpful.
