Don Tommy's Mexican Grill - San Diego

I visited Don Tommy's for a late lunch and found the location to be excellent with a nice atmosphere. I ordered some carne asada street tacos along with a fish street taco. Overall, the food was good. The fish taco was decent, but the red sauce was really flavorful. Unfortunately, the green sauce wasn't very impressive.

I stopped by on a whim and tried two carne asada tacos that were surprisingly amazing. They were so flavorful that I didn't even need any sauce. Absolutely delicious!

The tortillas are tasty...very fluffy and chewy. And the carne asada was good. But the carnitas had big chunks of fat in it, and on both burritos the guacamole was slim and the pico was plain. At $13 a burrito I felt a little cheated.

The best tacos in town! I had a wonderful experience dining there. The tortillas have an authentic Mexican flavor.

Sooo soo good. Large menu to choose from, quick service friendly staff. Can't go wrong here
