The grilled dishes are delicious and tender, and the BBQ sauce is fantastic. The potato salad was tasty, but the vegetables could use some improvement.

This restaurant in San Diego is a hidden gem, with their house-made pastrami that is thick, juicy, spicy, and tender. It's a far cry from the mass-produced options you typically find elsewhere.

I initially came to this restaurant because of the gluten-free options and I was very satisfied! The brisket chili was exceptional. Even my boyfriend, who doesn't follow a gluten-free diet, enjoyed it so much that he got a bowl to take home. He also tried the wings, which were not gluten-free, and liked them. I ordered the old timer burger on a lettuce wrap instead of the Udi's roll. The kitchen took precautions to prevent cross-contamination and even accommodated my request for two small patties instead of one larger patty. The service was excellent and the manager checked on us multiple times to ensure our satisfaction. The drinks were generously poured.

We absolutely adore this restaurant. We visit at least every other week and always order the brisket because it truly is the best in San Diego. I am writing this review because we had the chance to sample the seasonal menu yesterday and Lindsey, our server, was exceptional in helping us with recommendations. We started with the pork mac and cheese as an appetizer and then had the rib pasta as our main course. Both dishes exceeded our expectations and were absolutely delicious. We also tried the cream cheese mousse dessert, based on Lindsey's suggestion, and it was fantastic. We were so pleased with our experience that we returned the next day, this time bringing my in-laws so they could also enjoy the amazing food. We all left incredibly satisfied and had the opportunity to try all the items on the seasonal menu.
