Fisherman's Restaurant And Bar San Clemente

They told me that the bar and grill accepted the same menu from the full service restaurant. Turned out that information was inaccurate.. Service was overall rude and untrained. The waitress could not even recommend me a wine for my shrimp. I mean, wow.

Our first time to this restaurant and there was 17 of us. They accommodated us with no problems. The service was Excellent, the food was amazing, and the view was beautiful. It was my mother in laws 91st birthday and they gave her a giant ice cream cake that was to die for. I did not expect that. Thank you for a wonderful Sunday afternoon!

The Au-gratin oysters were delish and the sourdough bread was such a scrumptious treat. Our server and every other staff member we encountered was super nice and attentive. We sat outside on a gorgeous day with a view overlooking the ocean and listening to the waves crash onto the shore. I left that place in such a great mood today!

Tonight my husband and I took our 6 year old grandson to the bar side of Fisherman's Restaurant. We had an amazing waitress, Kiara, who helped us get some gluten-free food for our grandson who has celiac. Salmon was not available on the bar side, but she spoke with the manager and they made an exception. I seriously appreciate the manager and the waitress who helped make a little boy happy. Then, I immediately spilled my drink which broke and cut my grandson and me slightly. Kiara immediately got us both Neosporin and Band-Aids. We had a great time due to the lovely attention and kindness of our waitress. Please let her know that I wrote this to thank her for her help and professionalism. Thanks so much!

We never got our food. I ordered the fish taco and my wife the shrimp taco plate. We ordered two beers and the sever told us she was going to check on our meal. We were done with the beers and she returned and said they having issues, something about the cabbage. I ordered a second round of beers thinking our food was on it's way. I asked should we ordered something else and she said that she will asked the chef and gave us some bread. I ended up canceling our order, you would think the manager would have come over and said something ... nope just paid for our beers and left.
