Shiki Bistro San Carlos

Shiki has been focusing on improving their service and it is evident. The friendly waitstaff was extremely kind and helpful. The sushi and ramen dishes are consistently delicious, as are the vegetable and shrimp tempura, which are light and airy. Yum!

We visit Shiki at least once a month. The menu has a great variety of options and we have never had any complaints about the quality of the food or the raw fish. They usually have seating available and the service is always good. Overall, it is a fantastic last-minute dining option in the bustling San Carlos/Redwood City area.

I truly appreciate the delicious seafood, the quick service, and the atmosphere of this restaurant!

Terrific happy hour and great options. Sushi is very fresh and their service seems to be improving. They had a good band playing in the bar that was just the right noise level to enjoy but not make you have to raise your voice to talk to your table.
