Firenze Trattoria - Salem

This restaurant holds a special place in my heart, and I always choose it for my special occasion dinners. Generally, the wait for a table is quite reasonable, and they don't take reservations. As soon as you walk in, the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Each time I visit, the service has been friendly, personable, and attentive. The food is incredibly fresh, with great care taken for each ingredient. I often find myself unable to resist the fish special, particularly the whole grilled branzini, which I've enjoyed several times. I appreciate the simplicity of its preparation, expertly grilled with just the right amount of salt and a wonderfully crisp skin. I can’t quite explain it, but the grilled vegetables that accompany the fish are exceptional—packed with flavor and the perfect amount of crunch. My partner is always thrilled with the pasta dishes he orders; he loves them so much that it's sometimes difficult for me to grab a taste! Lastly, the tiramisu here is divine—creamy, flavorful, and perfectly textured, making it the ideal finish to a meal (if you have room, of course)!

Tied for best Italian place in town with Bella Verona. My husband and I often can't pick which to go to because they are both so amazing. This place has fantastic pasta truly amazing pasta. Their carafes of wine are cheap, yummy, and HUGE too much for a couple to split. This is just a fully fantastic place to eat wonderful Italian food.

Reminded me of many a restaurant in Italy, excellent food and service.

We had the cheese tortellini with basil in tomato sauce and it was out of this world! Great service too.
