Blue Bay Café By Tindlovu - Saldanha

A lovely surprise in a town with little to offer. The restaurant and bar are really very outstanding, well kept and stylishly decorated. I have to admit that we felt under dressed in our travelling clothes of shorts and slops but were well received and given impeccable service non the less. The bar is stocked with a good list of classic drinks and cocktails and menu is South Africanly traditional, meaning that there are no grand surprises on it. The one surprise was the ½kg west coast mussels in a Thai green curry inspired sauce and this is what we ordered,which was simply excellent. The entire dish was fresh, from the mussels to the chilli in the sauce. We will gladly be making this a destination stop.

The views you enjoy while savoring delicious food are truly invaluable. The menu is very authentic, and the service is exceptional. Blue Bay Café by Tindlovu is definitely a place you should visit.

Worst service ever, if you want to go there for lunch expect it to be provided by supper time so best to place your orders hours in advance. Staff not competent dont expect to get exactly what u ordered and make sure the food is not served ice cold!!

I had a wonderful experience at Blue Bay Cafe by Tindlovu! The ambiance is beautiful and the food was delicious. The staff was friendly and accommodating, which made our visit even more enjoyable. I highly recommend trying the Laanie sandwich, a great vegetarian option on the menu. If you're planning to visit with a large group, like we did with 20 people, it's a good idea to book a table through their event coordinator a little in advance. We made our reservation just two days ahead, and the process was very smooth. The view of the beach promenade, especially at sunset, is absolutely worth the trip!

Good place to enjoy meals and they offer good cocktails and amazing eating.
