Cafe Latte - Saint Paul

They had 1 person making sandwiches during lunch hour. This resulted in extraordinarily slow service. I personally decided to attempt to skip this longer line and went for the soup, where there was no line and proceeded to wait for 5 minutes before anyone scooped me some soup. It’s not like there weren’t people around. There were so many, but the distribution of workers was profoundly awful. Don’t bother going during any normal hours if you don’t want to spend 20+ minutes standing and waiting. Food was fine for the price. Not enough to offset the waiting. Bright side, they don’t ask for a tip when paying

Excellent customer service, clean friendly staff. Line may be long but it moves quick as they are pretty efficient and food taste fresh and delicious!! Would definitely recommend

One of my favorite places in St Paul. Can be packed at times. UT always a good selection of drinks and food--from light to hardy selections. Tip: sit upstairs.

I tried to like it. I really did. I really liked it back in the late 90s when I was just out of high school. But nowadays the hipsters who work there act really inconvenienced about everything. I felt like I was bothering them by being there. I realize that they don't like their job. The food isn't very good either. Not enough variety. Example of rude employees : I asked about where you put the trays when you're done and he turned around and walked away. The same employee also turned around and walked away when I asked for something else earlier. So I don't think he's really paying attention or he's hoping that I think that he didn't hear me. I've never seen people try to avoid their job so much. Also there were female employees who were standing in a certain area and I would go to get something there and they would just kind of walk away. Nobody asked what you wanted even when you're standing there at the counter.

Brought out-of-state guests here for dessert. Everyone loved what they ordered. Can't go wrong stopping here.
