This down-home , hole in the wall establishment is a place everyone must visit. Food is absolutely amazing, the staff is friendly and just like the old tv show Cheers ... Everyone knows your name.

Best breakfast ever- I mean ever. Perfect food and service every time. Spicy gravy is addictive! Love this place and the people who make it so special.

First of all I 'm very upset that no one in Newark told us about this place. My wife I are making this our new breakfast spot. We have live in Newark 1 year and 3 months and the greasy spoon places are amateur at best. I ordered the spicy chicken fried steak thingamajig with grits... OUT OF BOUNDS DELICIOUS!!! My wife ordered Bacon waffle... her said it was SO GOOD The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. 5 out of 5 for everything

This is theee best spot for breakfast I've ever been to!!! Hands down the most amazing atmosphere and staff on planet earth. You are treated like a family member from the time you walk in the door until you leave. Anyone who's been here knows that early birds is a genuine family ran business that goes above and beyond to put a smile on your face and fill you up so you can start your day right. I cant say enough. Come experience it for yourself if you don't already know!!!
