Kafka’s Coffee Roasting And Bakery

I visited this restaurant for their hot chocolate festival creation, and it was fantastic. The space is quite spacious, making it a great place to work or study! I arrived around 2 or 3 PM, and it was quite peaceful. The food, including sandwiches and baked goods, looked and sounded amazing, although I didn't try any during this visit.

This is the only decent place to eat in the South Flats! I wish they stayed open later, as the ECU campus is busy until at least 6:30 PM. I also feel that they could improve by regularly maintaining and sanitizing the tables in the downstairs area, though the seating upstairs tends to be fine.

I made my second stop at @hotchocolatefest, this time at @kafkascoffeetea. I tried their Cereal Milk Cascade Cocoa ($11), which is made with milk chocolate steeped in cereal-infused milk and served with a blondie. Instead of tasting like chocolate, it reminded me of the leftover milk from a bowl of cereal, but served hot instead of cold. It’s a drink that I could definitely see myself drifting off to sleep with. By the way, I visited their new location on Great Northern Way, and the atmosphere was super relaxed and spacious, making it a great spot for studying as well.

Great coffee shop on Great Northern way in Vancouver. Nice spot to have a meal or a snack. Their baked goods are made in house. Definitely worth trying! Service is always great and friendly here.The coffee is always great and the cafe is also a great spot for meetings for work or just hanging out with friends.I usually stop by for my morning coffee and croissant. They offer several different coffees and food options.I would recommend the Spanish latte here. Pay parking and a couple of free stalls are available.Stop by if you’re in the area.
