Green China - Saint Charles

Okay enough food, but there might be stuff in it you wouldn't want to eat! A couple years ago my family stopped going because there was a maggot in my food and they did NOT resolve it, but decided to give it another chance after a while. It went okay for a few meals, until today. My sister was eating her food when she felt something weird on her tongue; she pulled it out to find an inch long piece of STEEL WOOL, like from a scrub brush. Do yourself a favor and try one of the other Chinese restaurants in the area.

The staff always seems super rude. Always in a bad mood. Also the tip jar...sorry but I'll never give a tip for food I called in for, paid for and I'm picking up. It's over priced as is. Smile more :

If you’re looking for good food and great customer service this is not the place for you. Imagine working all day and craving your favorite food to get home to disappointment. I placed an order over the phone and asked for hot braised chicken. The women who answer the phone said they don’t have that but they do have general Tso chicken which is supposed to be hot and spicy. I told her I’ll try it as long as it hot and spicy as she rushed me with my order. I stay 15 mins from the establishment. I checked my order to make sure everything was in there but what I should’ve done was check my chicken to see if it was hot. The chicken was nasty and it was sweet not hot at all. I was not satisfied with this food especially for the amount I paid. I called and the same women tells me to come get a cup of hot sauce. I was in disbelief that she told me to come get a cup of hot sauce. Of course I disagree with that and she hung up on me. I called back and she tells me I don’t have time to go back and forward with you and said come get the hot sauce if you choose. This is my second and last time going to this place. But if you value good customer service and your money don’t go here.

I called last night to make a pickup order at 21:26. they should be open until 10 o'clock. So I placed my order and when I finished the dame, tells me that they close at 9:30?! I told her that I wasn't close enough to be there by 9:30 and that I wouldn't be there by more than 10 o'clock and she said they would be closed by then! So I told them to go and cancel the order. about 20 minutes later, when no one should be in charge, I get a call asking me if I ordered Chinese food and that it was ready?! I said, u told me that u at 9:30 o'clock would be closed and that I told them to announce the order that the man who called me shouted at me, told me that I was a sinner and that I never told them to quit the order! I never had done this with me before and I didn't win anymore! will not go back and I and my family eat alot of Chinese food. their loss!

I visited Green China in Lake St. Louis and was excited to try it for lunch since it was close to my workplace. However, I was really disappointed by the cleanliness of the interior—it was very dirty! I honestly don't understand how they manage to stay in business. The orange chicken was tough and chewy, making it nearly impossible to eat. Overall, my experience was quite unpleasant.
