Been walking the coast path for the day and called in as we heard it had a new owner. We weren’t disappointed. The batter was light, crispy and not at all greasy . The chips were real chips and the mushy peas tasted so fresh. We will be back ! I’m going to have to say that these were some of the best fish and chips I’ve had got to be in my top 2 anyway. Our fish was split into two equal portions so they were both cooked to perfection. The batter was crispy and tasty, and I’d go as far to say it’s the best battered fish I’ve had since I was a kid and had a local chip shop that I always used as a benchmark, and that was more than 25 years ago! I didn’t expect to be impressed so I was slightly taken aback. How could I not leave a review? Ultra clean shop, friendly welcome and good curry sauce. Thanks!
